Antique 1920 Whiting and Davis Art Deco Metal Mesh Purse. Silver tone with enamel geometric pattern at front and back in green, blue, white, brown, yellow and orange. Some patina on mesh but not much. Scalloped edge at bottom. Beautiful silver tone frame embossed all around with art nouveau flower like push clasp. Silver tone twisted chain. Closure and chain are perfect.
The Whiting and Davis hang tag is missing inside but this flower like push clasp was only used by whiting and Davis. In great vintage condition. Has a few links at side opening that are not attached. You absolutely cannot see this when closed and I myself did not realize it until recently. This item is priced according to the above condition.
